Motivation is very important to desire certain goals in your life. Of course you aren't really making more time, just enjoying the benefit of feeling as though there is more time. Also a group of Harvard neuroscientists ran a study where 16 subjects engaged in an 8-week mindfulness course, using guided meditations (eg. A review of 14 studies found mindfulness meditation helped participants reduce emotional and binge eating, and one other study showed that cravings were reduced in a group of 19 recovering alcoholics.
